Tina and I arrived at the airport around noon, we had to change money, it was already too late to catch the 12h40 bus.
We quickly found 2 other persons, interested in sharing a taxi to get to Habana. We paid 20$CUC each, but 3 persons on the back seat of these small soviet cars is a little bit tight.
We walked to our casa particular which is like a bed and breakfast. There are many thousands of those around the country. Our casa was in old Havana, at a walking distance of everything you need to see.
After dropping our bags, we walked along the ocean front and then around every little street of old Habana, stopped in different place to drink a few mojito and cuba libre.
There were bands playing in almost every bar, it was great.
In Cuba, rum is cheaper than Coke, it is not unusual to get over 2/3 of rum and less than 1/3 of coke in our glass.
It was so strong that we had to eat again. With a belly full of rum and cuban food, we went back to our nice colonial casa.
