We booked an organized trip to a paradize beach called Cayo Jutias. It’s about 1h30 drive, north west of Vinales, through scenic road, mostly in bad shape.
We got there at 10AM and had a driver picking us up at 4PM. We drove in of these vintage pink cars from the 60ies and were listening to “vamos a la playa”.
There was a small restaurant, toilet, and kayak for rent.
We walked along the beach as far as it was possible 🙂
I went for a swim but the water was not super warm.
The sun was hot, it was great to just read on the beach while listening to the sound of the waves…
We were back in Vinales around 17h30.
We went for a walk around the city and uphill to see the entire valley.
We had a good time, at least, until Tina realized that she had forgotten to put sun screen on her legs and feet. She had a very bad sun burn.
Tina is barely able to walk and I’m super tired again, even if I did nothing all day. Needless to say that we went going to bed early.
