The rain stopped but it was definitely colder at around 14°c . We opted to start our day with a coastal hike in Le Bic National Park. We parked at Ferme Rioux – a sector within the park. From there we explored each bay towards the trail Cap-à-l’Orignal, daddy carrying the little one in the backpack. We noticed there was much less fog than yesterday, it seemed like a different landscape. The tide was almost at the lowest point, we were able to walk from beach to beach without having to get back on the trail.

We turned around where the marked trail ended and the only way forward is at low tide between the water and the high cliffs. It is called the Grand tour. It’s definitely not a place you want to be when the tide is coming back up as there is no exit. Not recommended with a young kid either.

In the afternoon, we went to Rimouski to explore the coastal trail with the stroller.

On the way back to the cottage we quickly stopped in Sector Havre-Du-Bic. A group of kayakists were about to leave to explore the area at low tide.
