No need for an alarm clock with a kid. We had enough time to feed him, play with him, clean up the place, and pack up our stuff while showing up at the train station for 10h25 AM.
We are leaving Porto toward Sintra with transfers in both Campanhã and Estação do Oriente.
The total trip is a little over 4 hours but only costs 27 Euro per person which is much cheaper than renting a car, especially considering the amount of Toll on the highway and the fact we were not flying out from Porto.
Once in Sintra, we dropped our bags at the AirBnB and went for a quick visit of the city.
The historic center of Sintra is famous for its 19th-century Romanticist architecture, historic estates & villas, gardens, and numerous royal palaces & castles, which resulted in the classification of the town and its historic passage as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
At the top, one of the castle we are planning to visit tomorrow.
