When we woke up, we were surprised by extremely warm and nice weather. We had a nice view on the lake while having breakfast on the balcony.

We planned some hiking around Tadoussac. We headed towards the free parking located close to the ferry. From there we hiked the Sepaq trail toward the Adella Lessard summit. We however decided to turn around before the summit due to extreme heat and not enough water for the three of us.

We opted to visit a smaller summit nearby called Colline de l’Anse à la Barque. It offered a fantastic 360° view on the Fjord, the ferry, the town of Tadoussac and the Saint Lawrence River behind.

We then visited the town of Tadoussac with the stroller. We went up to the Marina. On the way back, we had a quick stop on the rocky shore facing the Fjord next to a museum. We were lucky to see at least three small rorqual whales in the few minutes we were there. Since kiddo did not feel like taking a nap, we stopped at the beach nearby. He had so much fun playing in water and sand as the tide was slowly going up. The freezing water didn’t seem to bother him at all. After moving our bags a couple of time to higher grounds, we left and had a drink at the local microbrewery. We ended that great day with a dinner at a restaurant called Le Bateau. 🙂
