The hike begins in Klingenmünster, a town in Palatinate-Pfalz region of Germany.

The hikes is 7km total and it begins with a steep and steady climb for the first km. That section has been damaged by the rain.

We come across a number of ruins of old castles.

The rest of the trail is nice and well maintained. To give you an idea, it could well be done with a Stroller.

We often follow a ridge and we can see through the trees, little villages down the valley.

There are a few view points however the trees have grown up.

At the highest point, there is Martin’s tower. We can climb to the top using internal staircase. It is free. The view is amazing.

Here is the view from the top of the tower.

Toward, the end of the loop, there is a very nice castle.

A nice place to relax and let the kid sleep.

The view is nice.

And a great terrace 😎
